I use a program called Amptube and it require WDM audio device. I will be glad to help you. My desktop speakers began to make a piercing sound yesterday so I had to turn down the speakers. I tried other speakers, same result. I run Windows 10 PRO 64 bit. Is it likely to be my sound card or the main board? Any help would be greatly appreciated. A lot of these screchers can be traced to some heat issue.

I can see that there are similar posts to this one but my scenario is a little different from the one's already posted. This driver plays sound through all my speakers when I run the test option but will not play any sound from the computer including Windows sounds and alerts and internet? If I were to plug in ear phones into the computer I get all sounds? Please see the two attached png files showing what I have got in the playback devices and the device manager.
